Techniques we use in CBT

    • Individuals Yp’s keep a log of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to identify patterns and triggers.
  2. Behavioural Experiments:
    • Tests the accuracy of negative beliefs through real-life experiments to gather evidence against irrational thoughts.
  3. Mindfulness and Relaxation:
    • Incorporates techniques to help individuals become more aware of their thoughts and stay present in the moment.
  4. Goal Setting:
    • Helps our YP to set and achieve personal goals, providing a sense of accomplishment and direction.

 

Our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy is a structured, skills-based therapy that combines cognitive-behavioural techniques with mindfulness practices. Its comprehensive approach addresses both acceptance and change, making it a powerful tool for young people struggling with intense emotions and maladaptive behaviours. By equipping young people with practical skills for managing distress and improving relationships, DBT fosters resilience and enhances overall mental health and well-being.

Our Person-Centered Therapy is a compassionate and non-directive approach that places the Young person at the center of the therapeutic process. By providing a supportive and accepting environment, therapists help the YP explore their inner experiences, gain self-awareness, and achieve personal growth. This humanistic approach empowers YP’s to realize their full potential and make meaningful changes in their lives.
